In September we opened up our windows and (softly) launched our humble terrace café. Built by Menno Verhoef, the café is nestled into a front-facing corner of our ground floor, doubling as a welcome desk for our hosts on the inside and a drinks window on the outside. The café is open during our regular hours, ready to make your trip out West all the more nourishing.

Additionally, on (most) Saturdays, our neighbours and Justus van Effencomplex residents Adina Orboi and Jurriaan Baggerman open the café from 10:00–14:00 to serve (very affordable) homemade treats prepared with seasonal ingredients, all sourced from the neighbourhood or local market and vegan. Follow along on our Instagram to keep up-to-date with their café takeovers. On these Saturdays, to make the trip all the more enticing, the space will also be open from 10:00, so you can see the current exhibition with your morning coffee.
